Why Suzhou

Suzhou gardens are built on borrowed scenery and empty space, and are themselves a setting made for quiet recuperation. The base sits in a garden-style courtyard: step out and you are among Jiangnan waterways, return and you are in a quiet courtyard — wellness here needs no rushing about.

  • One base throughout — no repeated repacking
  • Activities are free to join; a comfortable pace even at modest fitness
  • Jiangnan cooking follows the seasons; the medicinal cuisine is light and gentle
